Fused glass course at Morpheus Glass

Thank you for your interest in Morpheus Glass fused glass course. This page contains information about our one-day introductory fused glass course. The course is led by established fused glass designer/maker Stephanie Bowen at the fully equipped Morpheus Glass Studio in Orrell, Wigan. Once you have decided on the date please either complete the booking form and send it along with your payment to Morpheus Glass to book your fused glass course or use our on-line facility to book. Information about our one day fused glass course

What’s on the fused glass course?

We will start the day at 10:00am and finish at 4:00pm there will be breaks for refreshments throughout the day and a break for a light lunch at 12:30pm. Please ensure that you wear suitable clothing. e.g. No open toed sandals.
How much does it cost?

The cost of the fused glass course is £135 which includes materials and tuition along with refreshments and a light lunch. The total amount must be paid on booking to secure your place, if the fused glass courses was not to run you would be offered a refund or the next convenient date.
How many places are available?

Each of the fused glass course will have a maximum of 5 students per group. The course must have no fewer than 3 students for it to run. Groups of 3 or more who would like to arrange a party booking please contact us to arrange a date. Ideal for a special occasion.
What do I make?

By the end of the session you will have made several different pieces including 20x20cm panel, small wall hanging, jewellery and coaster set.
What about collecting my work?

After your course your work will need to be fired in our kiln. Once it has been fired the work can either be collected from the studio the following week or be sent to your home address via courier. (An extra cost of £10 P&P would apply)
Where are you based?

The studio is situated on Hewitt Business Park, Winstanley Road, Orrell, Wigan. A Short way from J26 of the M6. We are situated on the same road as Winstanley College. The business park is set back off the road, unit 11 is at the bottom of the estate on the right hand side.

Important Information

If you aren’t able to make it on the course for any reason you need to inform us at least 2 weeks before the date of the course, we will then be able to transfer your booking to an alternative date. This allows us some time to offer the place to someone else. If you do not allow us 2 weeks notice or fail to turn up on the date of the course then we regret to say your place will be lost and no refund will be given. Should the course not be running for any reason you will be contacted and offerd an alternative date or a full refund.
