Bespoke fused glass splashbacksSplashbacks made to your specificationsOur made to measure splashbacks and tiles make a beautiful and stylish addition to any home. Easy to fit and keep clean, they can be made to suit any style of home from the more traditional to the ultra modern. Designer Stephanie Bowen uses advanced glass fusing techniques to create each and every piece by hand.
How is the glass made?Morpheus Glass fused glass splashbacks are all handmade to order at the Lancashire based studio by glass designer Stephanie Bowen. Each piece of work is created using many different materials and design elements including coloured grains, metals, foils, silver and copper wire and glass powders. It is the unique layering combination of these materials alongside the innovative design edge which makes each piece of glass truly inspired.
What designs and colours can I have?Layers of vivid colours and lively textures create depth and character to each individual piece. Designs can be worked to any custom size for use as chic kitchen and bathroom splashbacks or elegant bespoke tiles to compliment their surroundings. Some designs work better than others and will depend on the size of piece, please feel free to call us and discuss your ideas. Stephanie is happy to design a piece especially for you and can even colour match existing colours using swatches.
What sizes do the fused glass tiles and splashbacks come in?Our fused glass splashbacks and tiles can be made to your bespoke specifications including colour ways, designs and various sizes up to 2m x 1m. Stephanie will design and make a piece to meet your exclusive requirements making it entirely custom made for you. Please call the studio to discuss your individual requirements. Water jet cutting allows us to accommodate sockets and tap cut outs into the finished piece. We will require accurate measurements or templates for any cut-outs required.

Does every piece have a smooth even surface?Due to the making process used every piece of glass will vary and depending on which design you choose will depend on how bubbly the surface texture is. Some of our designs such as the poppy range for example are particularly bubbly and therefore the thickness will vary slightly throughout the piece. Should the thickness of the glass be of particular importance please consult us about the design you have chosen to get specific information.
What about fitting?Our fused glass splashbacks and tiles, once finished, are backed in a white woven safety backing which not only gives a solid base colour ensuring no adhesive is visible through your glass but also has a textured surface to which the flexible tile adhesive can grip, making fitting easy.
Can I see the work before placing an order?If you would like to see a range of examples of Stephanie’s work including different colour options and designs available please call us at the studio on 01695 624182 to make arrangements to visit the showroom and discuss your ideas.
How will I receive my piece?Once your order is complete we will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date then your order will be sent via courier. Prices for delivery depend on area and size of order and will be quoted at time of ordering. Alternatively collection can be arranged from our studio in Lancashire if this or more convenient or cost effective.
How can I place an order?Once you have decided on what colours and design you would like and you have received an initial quote for your piece please telephone us to confirm your order, we will then be able to give you an accurate delivery time.
